Cisco Partner Summit is in full swing, and the innovation is inspiring. I had a great opportunity to chat with David Jansen and Cisco’s new collaborative tool called AI Canvas that allows you to use generative UI (that isn’t a typo) via natural language to investigate the vast amounts of data Splunk can access. AI Canvas also facilitates collaboration and enhances flows with generative AI.

Hey everybody, we’re out here at Cisco Partner Summit and I ran into David here and we’ve been talking about AI canvas. Now, can you give me some more information about what it is and what it does? Hi and welcome. Yes. Uh we’re talking about aentic AIdriven operations. Um, AI canvas is a gen UI to where I can collaborate with different personas from network, application and security with a single trouble ticket leveraging the unified assistant, the deep learning network module and agents and coupled with the applications. What are the applications? The applications are Splunk and Thousand Eyes as well as the Maro dashboard. >> Yeah. So we’re bringing all this data together and it’s a kind of a generative UI collaborative tool where people can go interact with natural language. Is am I getting that right? >> Yes, natural language and it’ll help you with root cause analysis and make recommendations and changes to the network. So if I have latency issues which is impacting uh application performance, I can correlate the two in a single collaborative uh generated UI um collaboration experience and get to root cause analysis much faster and it’s cross domain. Awesome. Thank you so much. Thank you.
