hey everyone we’re out here at dotom 24 and I’m talking to Jeff and a lot of announcements around AI so can you give us some more information about what we’re doing in that space well as you can imagine Jason uh it’s been pretty exciting at. comp we’ve had a lot of AI talk a lot of AI chatter so uh I think one of the things I want to talk about are the three different AI assistants that we are announcing and making available to customers so we have the AI assistant for SPL I’ll talk about that here in a second we also have our AI assistant in Splunk observability cloud and then our AI assistant powering uh Enterprise security so those are the three assistants that we uh have announced the Enterprise security and observability Cloud are going to be in private preview but I’m excited to announce that the uh AI assistant for SPL is generally available now right on so can you show us a little bit more here absolutely so there’s really three main things that this assistant can do today the first is to use natural language prompt like what uh disc has the least amount of free space in wind hoston and turn that into an SPL query that’s extremely useful for you know spunkers that are not so familiar with SPL and looking to get started we can also do explain SPL so think about taking a a a dashboard panel that’s been written and you don’t understand what it’s doing we can grab that SPL paste it in here and get a natural language description and then finally tell me about is going to synthesize all of our Docs Google uh our spunk docs information and so you can ask a question that you might otherwise search on Doc so it’s been really exciting announcements at Doc and that’s great so where do I go get some more information about all of this yeah absolutely so for the two assistants that are going to be in private preview uh I think it makes sense for the customers to reach out to their account teams to figure out when they can sign up for that but the AI assistant for SPL is generally available and so the easiest way to do that is to hop out onto uh Splunk base and then click on the installation instructions and just follow those installation instructions to get that installed in their environment fantastic thanks Jeff all right see you [Music]
