hey everyone we’re here at Doom 24 and I’m talking to Daniel here about Sor uh what are you really excited about that we announced sore here yeah it’s great to be uh back in Vegas Jason and meeting you and every Splunk customer um that is coming in and Splunk partners of course and um yeah I’m really excited about our security announcements that we did um my personal favorite is probably the external prompt feature in source 6. fre that we announced it’s been a long time coming I’ve seen it over and over in customer engagements and there are solutions but we this is one thing where I just know that we’re going to streamline the experience of security Engineers building s automation um so this feature um involves um the ability to essentially send out messages to external users that don’t have a sore account to ask for their sign off on something so that could be um the end user somewhere in the business unit or it could be someone from legal Orr and then waiting for that um for that response um and then the automation can continue once that response is available um broadly speaking like um it’s not directly affecting sore but esa. that we um got a first look at um will expose way more information about the state of the Automation and the backing Source server that is connected to it it’s going to be an incredible experience because it gives less and less reason for the analyst to Pivot between tools but we’re moving sore tighter into our seam solution so it’s going to be more of an integrated experience I’m really excited about that um lots of things to be excited about this time around sounds really incredible so where can I go get some more information about this where do we think yeah so um of course I think over the course of the last couple of days we’ve put out a number of blog posts pretty much targeted by like observability security um all the different content and of course you can also catch the Keynotes and I would really recommend the the technology keynote like outlining the core product innovations that we have coming up um and there like there’s just so many resources that will be linked there so um yeah excited for people to catch that um I certainly enjoyed it
