hey everyone we’re out here at Microsoft 9 I’m talking to John here about aure local and how Cisco products fit in that portfolio to bring the data center local can you give me a little bit more information there sure well Cisco and Microsoft have worked together on the Azure local solution we’ve actually had the market for over 18 months and here at ignite they changed the name to Azure local basically what this means is that customers have the ability to run workloads either in the Azure uh cloud or on Prim in the data Center they may want to do that because they’ve got certain data they can’t leave the data center for legal reasons industry practices reasons or they’ve got some issues with connecting to the internet and so they want to eliminate that type of issue and just simply run it local in their data center yeah so the Cisco product portfolio that fits into that how does that work so it all starts with c-series which is our rack optimiz servers two sockets based on Intel technology we can stack those servers from 1 to 16 in increments of one they connected to two of our Nexus 9300 switches and from there there’s connectivity to the Azure public Cloud now it gives us an ability to run thirdparty worklets as well as a lot of cisos tools you know you think of like uh Splunk uh top the list a lot of AI he comes running on it um a lot of vdi applications and so forth and a lot more security tool sets so it fits right into the Cisco Cisco hyper converged uh architecture that we have and a lot of the tools we have from a security standpoint such as sdw lot that technology and so so forth uh can be part of the total solution this sounds really exciting as a solution where can I go get some more information about this this go.com you can do a search on Cisco aure stack HCI or Cisco aure local it’ll take you to a web page give you our Cisco validated design we’ve documented all the best practices for this solution as well as sharing you some some use cases of people who’ve been there done that and enjoyed the benefits of Cisco thanks so much thanks so much [Music]
