Hey everyone, we’re out here at Cisco Live and I’ve been talking to Joseph here about data management and federation and some of the new capabilities in Splunk that we have coming up. Can you give us some more insight there? Yeah, absolutely. So today it’s not a less known fact that the data is growing, data is exploding in many of our customer environment and customers have to prioritize their use cases, their business problems and this is where federated data management comes in where you are ingesting valuable high priority data into Splunk and also routing your lowv value uh data into peers like Amazon S3 or um you know Azure and Splunk also provides the ability to read those data sets back using federated capabil ilities without moving your data. So this provides you a holistic way of getting the most value out of your data with the lowest cost invested in them. Yeah. So it used to be the story is all about getting data into Splunk. That’s not necessarily the case anymore. Yes. Exactly. Yeah. Absolutely. And and now we we want customers to actually only send the valuable data that they need in Splunk and uh prioritize their business use cases and gain the most value out of their data using Splunk.
